I guess I'm not the only one who got vibes of the Greek Sisyphus myth, though I could also see this as a classic Greco-Roman heroic story (ala Heracles and his trials).

I love the epic scale of this piece and how you can feel this Giant's pain and his feet dragging in the sand.
