I love how this dragon's almost like a big cat, guarding their toy.

Gotta admit, this is both really cool and kinda cute

The dude's almost treating those arrows like they're a fashion statement, instead of some seriously grievous wounds.

Something about those really blocky hands is oddly satisfying to look at... maybe the really clean shading on them.

LiteralHat responds:

Art is fkin weird bro

Hands are much fun to draw nowadays, thank you!

Amazing work, love the motion and the striking color scheme.
The relatively "simple" (maybe "clean" is a better word) linework is fantastic, capturing both the original character design with a bit of your own flair.

Omori.... holy hell, that is a game that sent me on a massive emotional rollercoaster. Outside of games I played as a kid (which obviously stick with me for nostalgic reasons), this is one of the few games that will stick with me for its story alone. The heartwarming moments of the game were true moments of comfort (especially every side moment involving the picnic blanket or just randomly hanging out with the other characters)... the comedic, odd moments were memorable, and pretty unique... and the harrowing, tragic, dark moments leave a sting that I will not forget for several decades (it's been nearly a year, and it still feels pretty fresh in my mind).

The terrain shape is honestly pretty cool, but what I really love is how your brush strokes are not only very clear to see, but are even a bit rough... yet they come together to create a well-defined image.

I've always loved how tactile Miura-sensei's art was, and I think this captures it well.

Still hurts a bit... but the dream's being kept alive one way or another.

BastianConst responds:

His range of drawings from beautiful to grotesque were amazing to experience throughout his works.
I don't think people will ever forget about Miura and he go down in history as an all time classic.

That first statement... "I think too much and too far"... I know that sentiment a little too well.
As for the art itself... god damn.... I love the use of red light.
It's kinda crazy how you can almost feel the glow as it bounces off the character

MachiToons responds:

light is fun!

I like cel-shading as opposed to more realistic rendering techniques because its animation friendly but also forces me to literally draw a line between dark and light, ykno makes for strong shapes or whatever haha

A little cluttered for my tastes, but I love the design of the individual elements

I'll never get tired of designs like these

Fuckin' hell, that is a really cool design
