Say, um... sensei... how did you learn your craft? What is the secret behind thine techniques (pronounced tek-nee-kyoos)?

Cool effect, but... MY EYESSSSSSSSSSSSSS (as sizzling steam pours out his eye sockets)

Seriously though, you're like a digital wizard with this stchuff.

OrangeWedge responds:

Thanks man!
I love the old damaged VHS look and i try my best to emulate it.
More stuff to come soon ;)

Holy fuck, that is awesome

VortexVisionz responds:

Thanks man!

The drawing itself isn't too bad. I can tell you still have a lot to learn (which isn't a bad thing, really).

(Note regarding your description and title:
Might wanna calm down on the all caps... it's a tad bit... abrasive on the eyes...)

Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaah...... thaaaaat's..................(pause for dramatic effect).................. pretty awesome (ends with anti-climatic finisher).
Love how dynamic it all is, and the design itself is pretty sweet

w00t!

Crounchann responds:

Thaaaaaanks.... :).......(pause for enjoying the great compliment with a smile).....

MeghanLuna responds:

Yess!! The muppet mouth! I'm glad you like the leaf/hand animation X) Thank you!

It really is hard not to love your intriguing, fascinating, and sometimes disturbing designs.
Also, and I think it's because of the eyes and the colors in this piece, but it kinda reminds me of some of Jamie Hewlett's work. I dunno how you feel being compared to other artists, but that's honestly the kinda quirky, but cool vibe I feel from this.

While the foreshortening/perspective could use a bit of work (it's a bit hard to grasp the full depth of the Drake), and maybe some more work could be done with the design of the smoke, or fog, or mist (I assume smoke, since Fire drake and all), I do like the design of the Drake itself. It speaks of a creature or being that is clearly unfriendly and not too keen to trust whoever it comes across.
Also, dragons be cool.

jiasenART responds:

Thanks for your comment...but there should not be much foreshortening in this case as there's not a huge distance between the head and the body(which could create such visual difference)...nor the dragon has long neck to create the distance...obviously if you are looking at it from a point of view of a generic dragon design, you will have a misconception as it's an unique design...as for the smoke..I prefer to keep additional details in such cases simple, to keep the viewer's focus on the main subject...it is already a full image with little negative space...adding more work would make it look crowded...that's my thought behind creating this piece. Of-course every artist has their own point of view. Thanks for dropping by :)

Dunno why (maybe the blue hair), but when I first saw this, I immediately thought of Bulma from DB.
That aside, I like the simple, if not minimalistic color palette, and the line art is pretty nice (especially in and around the hair).

I love how much this pops out (though part of me thinks the neon green is a bit too poppy), especially with the linework and the shapes, a really cool mix of being cartoony, but still viscerally horrifying (as a xenomorph should be... unless their in plushy form, as well as headcrabs and facehuggers... don't judge me...).

(also... damn, I guess I wasn't the only one who thought of the JoJo reference... :/)

w00t!
